Should I get a consultation?
"If you're scared of a permanent change, talk to your hairdresser. I was nervous before my appointment, but the colourist at Hare & Bone knew exactly what he was doing and really reassured me. He re-did my blonde first and applied demi-permanent pink toners over the top. This meant the change wasn't permanent and once it eventually faded I would have a beautiful blonde waiting for me underneath."

Can I dye my hair rose gold if I'm brunette?
It takes longer and is more damaging as you'd need to start by making your hair permanently lighter with bleach (using something like L'Oreal's Colorista All-Over Lightening Kit). The lighter your hair, more the colour will stand out. It's best left to the professionals, but, if you're a confident home-dyer, it can technically be done.
Does rose gold hair fade quickly?
This depends on your hair colour, condition and the products your using. Some people, including Hailey Bieber, find it hard to keep up. She told Refinery 29 "I loved my pink hair, but it’s hard to maintain. I get lazy and you have to do the cream rinse and the color yourself[...] It never stays one color pink; it’s the perfect color and then you wash it and it’s the wrong color. But I loved it." On average, it takes roughly between 10-20 washes to fade completely.
