He posted a message expressing his gratitude to his family, authorities, school, and teammates and ended with the declaration, “I am truly blessed and humbled by the opportunity to make a lifelong dream come true. That said, I have decided to declare for the 2024 NFL Draft!“
Oregon star QB Bo Nix expressed his appreciation for Bucky Irvin on his IG story with the caption, “My RB forever.” The Chicago native joined Oregon in 2022 and became an immediate sensation as one of the best running backs in the Pac-12. In his two seasons with the Ducks, Irving accounted for more than 1,000 yards each. He completed the last season with 1,063 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns with an average of 6.2 yards per carry.
