Eminem and Snoop Dogg took a trip to the metaverse during their performance at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, which took place at the Prudential Center in New Jersey on Sunday.
The Lose Yourself rapper, 49, began the performance of their newest track, From the D 2 the LBC, by sitting on a couch while watching his 50-year-old collaborator smoke an oversized prop cannabis joint.
The pair then entered a metaverse-inspired virtual reality and were seen rapping in several animated forms before finishing the song in front of the event's adoring crowd.
