Even though Veronica and Ali split when Laila Ali was young, that did not stop young Laila from developing a strong bond with her father. Recently, she took to Instagram to share an old photo of Ali and her mother. She further shared a message for the photo.

Laila Ali shared this photo and wrote, “These are the two people who brought me into this world.” At the end of this heartwarming message, she added a red heart emoji to show her love and affection for the two people in the picture. Laila Ali was close to her father. And she shared a memorable moment she had with her father. And the words he said to her.

Even though Muhammad Ali established himself as one of the greatest boxers in the world. And one-of-a-kind presenter. He was against his daughter, stepping foot inside the ring. This might shock the readers as to why ‘the greatest’ would not want her daughter to continue his legacy.
At an event after her induction into the hall of fame, as reported by Insider, Ali recalled the time her father tried to talk her out of fighting. Muhammad told Laila, “Don’t do it, it’s not for you, it’s not for women, and people will fight you 10 times harder knowing you’re an Ali,”
But obviously, Laila did not take that advice and went on to dominate the sport of female boxing. And after her first fight.
